Facebook Lite Plus
I based this project off Facebook Lite Spoon http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/57854. This script however does not work currently and needed some updates. I have also added the following features:
- Friends Tab
- Better Picture Placement
- Correct Alignment
This is a grease monkey script so you will need to be running Firefox and the plugin greasemonkey. It should install automatically.
Note: Facebook Lite Spoon has broken in the past with facebook updates. If that happens check for a new version here, and if that doesn't work comment. I am also open to feature requests.

Hey,
Awesome script. The placement of the picture preview is kind of strange though. When I rollover an image it previews awkwardly in the right corner partially overlapping the blue ‘menu bar.’ It just seems awkwardly placed. Is there any way to modify this so that the preview is attached to the mouse location, or slightly offset from it? This, I think, would make more sense. If I roll over an image it means I am looking at that part of the screen, and so it makes sense to pop-up the larger preview image offset down and to the right of where the mouse is at the time instead of in the upper right.
Also — the content does not seem to be completely flush on the right side. If you draw a line straight down from the edge of the end of the search box submit icon the content doesn’t line up as it lines up on the left side with the ‘facebook’ logo. Content doesn’t seem truly centered. Hard to be sure, but it does feel skewed slightly.
Awesome script, I really dig it.

I fixed the alignment problem.
That positioning idea sounds great! I’ll try to include that in the next release.

Hi,
I was using lite spoon, but I just tried yours and it’s great! There’s one detail though. There’s a new option in settings “Default site”. If we check “let me switch…” it adds a little banner at top to switch between regular FB and FB lite. In order to integrate it into your script your should treat “.optoutHeader” in the same way than “#header” so it sticks on top too.
Also, about the photos popup, for me it works only with profile pics. It doesn’t work on album thumbnails or posted pics.
But hey, good job!

I also have a suggestion. I like small windows… so I prefer if the minimum width is reduced (there’s quite a bit of wasted space on the original FB lite between the inbox and the settings button.

I am having trouble getting the flexible width to work with photos. I’ll try to get that to work right this week.
